New optoelectronic devices for the Near and Mid-Infrared spectral range open completely new possibilities for portable sensors creation. Using infrared LED-PD optopairs allows developing an instrument that is smaller, less expensive and energy-saving.

Lms36PD-05-R(W)

Photodiodes produced by LED Microsensor NT can be used in a wide temperature range without additional cooling, they do not require appliance of reverse voltage and are operated in a photovoltaic mode (with no reverse bias). Lms36PD-05-R(W) photodiode model has ~3600 nm cut-off and 0.5 mm sensitive area diameter. It has a vast number of applications and mainly used for detection of infrared light for CH4 and other hydrocarbons measurement.
